Boeing will move at least 800 jobs to Oklahoma City

We all remember hearing the news that Boeing was moving their Long Beach facility to Oklahoma City area. That move brought over 500 jobs to the metro area. Boeing announced yesterday they will be closing down the Wichita, Kansas location and relocating the engineering operation to Oklahoma City.

This will bring in another 800 jobs: the majority of the people coming from Wichita and Puget Sound, Washington. We would like to give a warm welcome to all the future homeowners in the Oklahoma City (Edmond) area!
